Capt. Dale with another nice “walleye”
-- a great day on the Missouri river

Learn how to find fish – using contour maps, GPS, and Lowrance electronics. Discover how to catch walleye with various techniques and when and where to fish them. The day’s fishing can be tailored to your specific interests in techniques – from jigging, to rigging, to crankbaits – long line trolling or trolling with lead core, or fishing with slip bobbers. Or it can be a little of each. Learn about boat control with tips on trolling and use of drift socks.

Fish the reservoirs in a 20 ½ foot - Lund 2025 Pro V IFS with a Mercury Verado, Pro-kicker, and top of the line Lowrance electronics. Fish the river in a 18’ - 1860 G3 Jon boat with a 115/80hp Yamaha Jet. All fishing tackle, equipment, and bait is provided.

Ron McClenning of Billings – “a nice Missouri River sauger”

“Selective harvest” is used to allow anglers to keep some eaters, and protect the spawners -- meaning that fish over 20” are generally released. A delicious deli style lunch including non-alcoholic beverages, water or soda will be provided. All you need to bring is clothing suitable for the time of year and raingear, a camera if you choose, and a valid Montana fishing license.

The cost is $450 per day for one or two people. Add $50 per day per person – for up to two additional people. Discounts are available for additional days on same trip.
